Dark Dreadnaught

So if any of you have seen Star Trek nemisis, you'll know EXACTLY what this ship is. For those of you who haven't, I'll fill you in.

This is a Scimitar class. Words really can't do her justice, so I'll just start with some specs.

Tactical analysis Mr. Worf!

52 disruptor banks
27 photon torpedo bays
Primary AND secondary shields
Romulan Designed Battlecloak
Thalaron energy weapon

In Nemisis, this thing was a mobile deathstar, but then aren't the big baddies always flying in cool toys? But NOW...
Oh NOW...
You see, last thursday, Cryptic, the makers of Star Trek Online announced the release of a third faction. This is the biggest, by far, expansion since the launch of the game, and I can't see how they wouldn't, nor shouldn't, add this ship too the game. Bigger ships have been prooven before too not necessarily be tougher, and this ship is just TOO MUCH of a money grab for cryptic too let it go too waste.

Now, I HIGHLY doubt that the game version of the ship will have THAT much power, but I can tell you what you probably WILL see:

8 weapons slots, 4 fore, 4 aft
Ability too mount cannons
Tactical Focus with a side of Science
AT LEAST a Battlecloak
And finally, most likely, since the NPC ones in the game have it, a Thalaron doomsday weapon. Or perhaps some sort of cone of fire plasma weapon, which would be preferred as we can upgrade that much more than some exotic weapon damage. THAT or a possible advanced version of the battlecloak, allowing you too fire energy weapons without decloaking.

I can't see it being fast, considering that the Enterprise-E rammed it, and it only caused a minor headache, but the original was able too easily outmaneuver the enterprise. I'm guessing a turn rate of 8 degrees a second here, meaning top end is 20 degrees, but expect HUGE inertia.

This is just a sig picture myself, I've even come up with a name for her, just beneath the ship. She's called "Midsummer Night" Romulan Republic Warbird designation. Jumping the gun, but I think it'll be released. It BETTER be released.
